- Hall layout follows the beverage production process
- Discovery Bar, Wine Area and pilot projects showcase new products and processes
- Expert discussions, workshops and Aftershow Party provide opportunities for face-to-face exchange
Taste new beverages, discuss energy costs with experts or work together on ideas for your own business: BrauBeviale offers plenty of opportunities to do just that in Nuremberg from 10 to 12 November 2026. Visitors can identify the topics and contacts most relevant to their work before the event. The exhibition spans eight halls arranged along the beverage production process. The programme also includes expert presentations, workshops and tastings. On Tuesday evening, the Aftershow Party will turn Luitpoldstraße in Nuremberg city centre into a hub for the BrauBeviale community.
BrauBeviale brings together manufacturers, suppliers and professionals from across the European beverage industry. The focus is on new beverages and business opportunities, investment in production and technology, and the efficient use of energy, water and raw materials. At the exhibition stands and throughout the supporting programme, visitors can explore solutions and exchange experiences with industry experts.
“People who come to BrauBeviale usually have very specific questions about their own operations. We want visitors not only to find suitable suppliers, but also to take away fresh ideas and learn from the experiences of other companies. That is why we complement the exhibition with formats that encourage them to join discussions and actively contribute,” says Markus Kosak, Executive Director, YONTEX GmbH & Co. KG.
Eight halls along the production process: Hall plan already available online
The new hall layout makes it easier to navigate the offerings of almost 800 exhibitors from 34 countries and follows the beverage production process. Visitors entering through Entrance West will first encounter raw materials and ingredients in Hall 12. From there, the route continues through processing and production technology to filling, packaging and logistics. Those entering through Entrance East can explore the exhibition in the opposite direction, starting in Hall 7A.
The hall plan is already available online. Together with the exhibitor and product database, it allows trade visitors to research relevant companies and technologies in advance, arrange meetings and combine their route through the halls with suitable programme sessions. This also leaves plenty of time for personal exchanges and spontaneous conversations.
Discovery Bar and Wine Area: New beverages and winemaking technology
More than 50 beverage concepts will be available to taste at the Discovery Bar in Hall 6-281. Start-ups, newcomers to the industry and established manufacturers will present their products and engage directly with trade visitors. The range extends from alcohol-free aperitifs and fermented beverages to infused water, drinking vinegars, ready-to-drink cocktails and beverages containing protein, electrolytes or probiotics. Alcohol-free concepts will be particularly well represented. The Discovery Bar will therefore provide inspiration for product development, marketing and new opportunities for collaboration.
The wine industry will also have its own dedicated meeting point. The Wine Area in Hall 7-310 will focus on technologies and products for wine production and packaging. The German Winegrowers' Association (Deutscher Weinbauverband e.V.) is supporting the area as an industry partner and contributing its expertise to BrauBeviale 2026.
Battery storage, process heat and new energy sources on the Main Stage
How can businesses use energy and resources more efficiently while reducing costs? Experts will discuss this on Tuesday, 10 November, from 2:30 to 3:30 pm on the Main Stage in Hall 9-630. Topics will include untapped savings potential, battery storage, upgrading existing heat supply systems and economically viable solutions for small and medium-sized businesses.
Just a few steps away, the Pilot Area in Hall 9-631 will showcase practical applications. These include a high-temperature thermal energy storage system developed by Fraunhofer UMSICHT and Bitburger. Other projects focus on making use of by-products from beverage production and rapid tests for detecting spoilage microorganisms in fermented beverages.
The Association of Private Breweries in Bavaria (Private Brauereien Bayern e.V.), BrauBeviale's honorary sponsor, will also be represented nearby. At stand 9-539, the association will be available for expert discussions and exchanges on current industry issues.
Develop new ideas together in the Focus Corner
Rather than simply listening, participants can contribute to discussions and develop solutions together. That is the aim of the workshops in the Focus Corner in Hall 9-626. Each session lasts 90 minutes and is limited to 30 participants. Attendance is free of charge, but advance registration is required via the programme on the website.
One example is “Brewery 2030+”, taking place on Tuesday, 10 November, from 1:00 to 2:30 pm. The format brings together breweries, machinery and plant manufacturers, start-ups, research institutions and technology partners. Participants will jointly develop approaches to new products, processes and business models, turning operational challenges into concrete ideas for collaboration and further projects.
Other workshops will cover topics including sustainability in breweries, logistics processes and beverage marketing.
Meeting boxes for in-depth discussions
Visitors wishing to follow up on ideas from presentations and explore them in greater depth with customers, business partners or potential suppliers can use the two meeting boxes at the exhibition centre. These can be booked online in advance.
Aftershow Party in Nuremberg city centre on Tuesday evening
When the exhibition halls close on Tuesday, 10 November, the programme will continue in Nuremberg city centre. From 8:00 pm, the official party will take place at DIE ROSI on Luitpoldstraße, just a few minutes' walk from the main railway station. The street is also home to numerous restaurants, making it an ideal place to meet for dinner before the party.
Trade visitors are also welcome to attend the official party. It offers an opportunity to catch up with existing contacts and make new connections away from the exhibition centre. A separate party ticket is required.
Chatbot answers questions about visiting the trade fair
Visitors with questions about travel, tickets or practical arrangements at the exhibition centre can use the chatbot on the BrauBeviale website, available around the clock.
BrauBeviale will be open from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on Tuesday and Wednesday, and from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Thursday.
Tickets, the hall plan, the exhibitor and product database and the full supporting programme are available at www.braubeviale.com
