Pilot Area: Eat Beer

Eat Beer Biotech GmbH is developing a modular, container-based production platform designed to utilize industrial byproducts. Material streams such as brewery byproducts are converted into high-quality food ingredients or bio-based products using data-driven process control. The goal is flexible, scalable, and circular production. Eat Beer – Data. Platform. Value.

Pilot Area: Fraunhofer UMSICHT Project ISSDEMO

The ISSDEMO project is developing an ultra-dynamic high-temperature heat storage system based on a special metal alloy. It is designed to flexibly supply process steam derived from renewable energy sources to industrial applications. A demonstration plant is being built and tested at the Bitburger Brewery Group. The project is funded through the Clean Energy Transition Partnership Joint Call 2022 and co-financed by the EU.
